Wen Shiyang, Professor and Doctoral Mentor of Law School at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Executive Editor of Studies in Law and Business, Vice President of Civil Law Institute, Vice President of Insurance Law Institute, Vice President of Legal Journal Institute, Member of Expert Committee for National Judicial Examination.
In 2008, Prof. Wen was included in“New Century Talents Project” sponsored by the Ministry of Education; he hosted several National Social Science Fund projects and scientific research projects at provincial and ministerial levels, and won several awards for excellent scientific research achievements at these levels.
He has published academic works such as Essentials of Property Law, The General Theory of Property Law, Theoretical Exploration and Legislative Discussion of Property Law; compiled textbooks such as Insurance Law and Course for Property Law; published more than 80 academic papers in journals such as China Legal Science, Chinese Journal of Law, Studies in Law and Business, The Jurist, Tsinghua University Law Journal, Law Review, Modern Law Science, Science of Law, and Law Science.
